Heros in PvP
Anyone else getting sick of playing pve in pvp? PvP stands for player verus player not player verus AI.
This reason I'm bringing this up is because arena net doesn't seem to want to be concerned with certain issues unless enough of a fuss is made.

i dont think ive seen heroway in champ range gvg since last year, unless scrubs still buy 1200+ rating guilds to do heroway. couldnt care less imo.

well there are some ppl who still use heros in HA and there are certain, *cough necro build cough* builds that do better with heros. however its not easy to get a team together for HA and heros allow you to do some runs without longer waiting. there is also a limit on the number if i remember right. as for GvG who brings heros for GvG? thats just plain stupid.

In my last GvG, the other team had heros...It ended up being pretty embarrassing. Never thought we would have lost

lol i would never use heroes for GvG/HA but i will admit that if you take them lighty it MAy come back to bite you in the ass if you're in a average/below average team (or just pugs, for that matter xD). ^^

Heroway isn't too hard for a decent gvg team to beat, but the problem is that it takes a lot more effort and skill on the part of the other team to win than it does for the heroway team. I think this is true for virtually all credible hero-based builds ever played. If nothing else, they should be removed for that reason alone, kind of like the reasoning behind that vamp spirit blood spike they nerfed a few weeks back. It's not going to get in the way of many of the seasoned guilds, but having to go in and face wave after wave of this sort of bullshit is exactly what we don't need any potential new pvpers having to deal with. When it comes down to it, heroes in gvg are simply bad for the game.
I don't know how heroes are in HA. I almost enjoy HA as much as repeatedly punching myself in the face, which is to say I don't do either.

ANY build is beatable, if that is your excuse, not a single build ever deserved to be nerfed. (Concidering even N/A Bspike got beaten, aswell as ritspike)
It's more a question of the skill (effort)/reward ratio.
Whilst playing Heroway, or any other buttonbash, you can beat relativly good teams with ease. Sure, the build itself has limitations, a top 100 guild simply won't "win" a mAT with a heroway, because of these boundries, but that doesn't change the fact that new High-End PvP'ers, or even seasoned PvP'ers, have alot of troubles beating a generally "bad" team running heroway.
It feels like just yesterday when [Sup], [rawr] (reform) and any other top guild you name lost to the RaO smiteway (B4 smiter's boon) and/or N/A bspike.
As long as heroes exist in PvP, they will get abused. Even if there was a perfectly balanced build, the bottom line is:
PLAYER VERSUS PLAYER.
If I wanted to fight some overpowered heroes (this Tease heroway in HA is redicilous, our infuser got Teased on Infuse Health 3 times in 1 match, we still won tough) I would play some high-end PvE.

Just so you guys know, Heroway has gotten top 16 in a mat, and its not just an effort thing its an annoyance thing its not fun to play against one build 75% of the time.

Thing is they didnt even run heroway in the monthly so it doesn't matter.

Heroway was awesome in HA after NF was released. If they do anything, they should keep heroes out of GVG and keep it as serious PVP, and add H/H back to HA because then a lot of people like me will actually bother to play it again.

You can see top 200 guilds playing with 4 heroes, it's not pvp and not fun.
For those thinking that only average team can be beat by heroway, if you press B last month you can see several top 100 guilds loose (or close to loose for SUP) against these teams
Ban heroes from HA and GVG, just put them in their place --> heroes battle

By banning heroes from GvG/HA you would deny the game for guilds that don't have enough people on. Guest is only usable if you know the person, so, no.
Heroes are predictable, that's why some people like to run them and why it is more or less possible to beat them. And who said it isn't fun?

I don't think heros need to be removed completely but anet needs to hire a big thug named "knuckles" to take them out to a dark ally someplace and kick them in the head until they are brain dead. (so that they are not as good at running the gimmicks that we always see them being used for in PvP ill use taint bot as an example)
Change Hero AI behavior in PvP example a hero will only apply tainted flesh to itself or the persons who's hero it is.
or if that is too hard lets do this instead
Tainted Flesh (PvP) Elite Enchantment Spell. For 20...39...44 seconds, target touched ally is immune to disease, and anyone striking that ally in melee becomes Diseased for 3...13...15 seconds.
because we all know how well hero use touch skills
Sarcasm over just remove the Flipping heroes from PvP its Better than the alternative "balances "
